CPC ALUM TAZE THOMPSON STARTS NEW CHAPTER AT NORTHEASTERN

Former CPC player, recently transferred to Northeastern with three years of eligibility still remaining.

Taze Thompson is coming off of a very successful freshman year at Harvard University. During, Thompson’s debut season she was named to the ECAC All-Rookie team leading all freshman in both goals and points. She helped lead her team to a historic 2022 Beanpot championship with a goal in both games. In the 32 games played, Thompson recorded 8 goals and 12 assists, totaling 20 points and was a +4. Taze led all first-years in goals and points on the season.

Thompson is a talented forward who dominated at New Hampton becoming the first player in history to break 100 career points in just two season and was named the NEPSAC Small school player of the yearIn 2019, she was selected to the Canada’s National Women’s U18 Championship with Alberta. She was also selected to the Hockey Canada US National team playing a three games series against the USA in Lake Placid, NY. In that same year, Thompson was selected for the Hockey Canada National Women’s Development U18 Camp playing against Team Russia.
